Vivo Y72t With MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 6,000mAh Battery Launched: Price, Specifications


The Vivo Y72t has a starting price of CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 16,200). The Vivo Y72t is the latest Y-series smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to be released in China.
The new Vivo phone is available in three colour variants and has a 60Hz refresh rate display.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and has up to 256GB of internal storage.
The phone also has 8GB of RAM, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera, and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
A 6,000mAh battery powers it, and it supports 18W FlashCharge.

Price and availability of Vivo Y72t

The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Vivo Y72t costs CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,200).
The top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 256GB RAM storage model costs CNY 1,599. (roughly Rs. 18,600).
It comes in three colours: Deep Space Black, Blue Sea, and Star Trail Powder (translated).
The Vivo Y72t will not be available in India till later this year.

Specifications for Vivo Y72t

The Vivo Y72t has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD (2,408×1,080 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate, and it runs Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top.
The display has a body-to-screen ratio of 90.62 percent and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which has an octa-core processor, Mali G57 GPU, and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

The Vivo Y72t has a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens, as well as a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
The smartphone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/1.8 lens on the front for selfies and video chats.
Portrait mode, live photo, slow motion, and time-lapse photography are among the camera modes supported by the unit.
The Vivo Y72t also comes with up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The smartphone has 5G, Wi-Fi 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, a 3.5mm audio connector, and a USB Type-C connection for connectivity.
An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, and proximity sensor are among the sensors aboard.
For authentication, the new Vivo Y72t has a fingerprint sensor on the side.
Additionally, it supports the face recognition capability.

The Vivo Y72t has a 6000mAh battery with 18W FlashCharge capability.
The battery is supposed to have a standby period of 35 days and a music playback time of up to 160 hours.
Furthermore, the phone is 163.87×75.33×9.17mm in size and weighs 199.8 kilos.
