The OnePlus 10R Lite with model number PGZ110 has been discovered in the Indian IMEI database.
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, which debuted earlier this month in China, is expected to launch in India and other global markets as the OnePlus 10R Lite.
According to reports, the latter model appeared on the Indian IMEI database with the same model number as the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition.
OnePlus could position the OnePlus 10R Lite as a scaled-down version of the OnePlus 10R and sell it in the mid-range price range, similar to its OnePlus Nord models.
Mukul Sharma, a tipster, has shared a couple of screenshots indicating that the OnePlus 10R Lite, model number PGZ110, is in the works.
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition also has the same model number.
In April, it was listed on China’s TENAA.
The screenshots shared by Sharma are allegedly from the Indian IMEI database, implying that the new phone will be available in the country soon.
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition briefly appeared on the OnePlus India website prior to its launch in China.
This development also indicated that the company may introduce the new model in the country.
However, it appears that the Ace Racing Edition will now be released as the OnePlus 10R Lite.
It is worth noting that the original OnePlus 10R was released as a rebranded OnePlus Ace model earlier this month in China.
Price of OnePlus 10R Lite in India (expected)
The OnePlus 10R Lite price has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be similar to the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, which debuted at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,300) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
The phone is also available in an 8GB + 256GB variant for CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs. 25,600) and a top-end 12GB + 256GB variant for CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 25,600). (roughly Rs. 29,100).
The OnePlus 10R was released in India for Rs. 38,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, and Rs. 42,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model.
The OnePlus 10R 5G Endurance Edition debuted alongside the regular OnePlus 10R, priced at Rs. 43,999 for a single 12GB + 256GB model.
Specifications for the OnePlus 10R Lite (expected)
The OnePlus 10R Lite specifications are still unknown.
The hardware, however, will be identical if we believe it is a rebranded OnePlus Ace Racing Edition.
The OnePlus phone would have a 6.59-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,412 pixel) LTPS display with a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The OnePlus 10R Lite is also expected to feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
The OnePlus 10R Lite is also expected to have a front-facing 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor.
OnePlus could release the 10R Lite with up to 256GB of storage.
A 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging could also be included in the phone.
