After the ban on Huawei by Government of America in 2019. companies like Google, Qualcomm snapdragon are not doing business with Huawei. so Huawei started developing its own operating system called Harmony os. we can except Harmony os in all Huawei and honor mobiles in 2021.
Back in 2019, Huawei started developing harmony os for smart TVs and smartwatches. Microkernel is a concept used to develop harmony os so that it can run smoothly in different devices at different levels. The concept of googles fission os used in the making of harmony os.
At present we can see this operating system in Huawei and honor TVs. By using Arch complier we can port the Android’s APK’S into harmony os. Huawei is trying to build an ecosystem like Apple with open source capability of Android. Harmony os can give a huge competition to android and there is no presence of google in china. So all the mobiles companies can move to harmony os from android in china.
Huawei makes available different software kit so that developers can make apps for Harmony os. Huawei is also giving chance to small and local business to runs there apps in Huawei app gallery.
