WhatsApp users are likely to get a feature that allows them to edit text messages.According to reports, the messaging app is working on an edit button for text messages.Notably, the feature is still in the works.The “edit text messages” feature’s release date is still unknown.

WhatsApp is developing a number of features to enhance the user experience.Users of WhatsApp will soon be able to edit text messages.According to WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp tracker website, the Meta-owned messaging is working on this feature for a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop.

According to reports, the messaging app is working on an edit button for text messages.”WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow us to edit text messages, so we will finally be able to correct any typos after sending a message!There will most likely be no edit history to check previous versions of edited messages “WABetaInfo wrote.

The website also included a screenshot of the new WhatsApp option in development.Notably, the feature is still in development.The release date of the “edit text messages” feature is still unknown.

Last month, reports surfaced that the Meta-owned messaging app included a feature that allowed users to silently exit their groups.This feature prevents other members of a group from learning about their departure.
When this feature is activated, only users who have left their groups and group admins will be notified.

The messaging app is also said to be working on expanding the features available to WhatsApp Business accounts with premium subscription plans.The WhatsApp Premium subscription service for business accounts will allow up to ten devices to be linked to the same account.
