Huawei Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone with 7.8-inch display launched: Price, specifications and more

The Huawei Mate Xs 2 sports a 7.8-inch foldable 120Hz OLED panel, which is 6.5 inches 120Hz and 240Hz when unfurled.

Huawei recently debuted the Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone in China, and the company has now revealed the Mate Xs 2 folding phone in the worldwide market at its global event.
The Mate Xs 2 features a 7.8-inch foldable 120Hz OLED panel, which is 6.5 inches 120Hz and 240Hz when unfolded.
Its narrowest point is 5.4mm, the same as the predecessor.

Price and availability of the Huawei Mate Xs 2

In Europe, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage costs €1,999.
It will be available in June and comes in three colour options: black, white, and violet.

Specifications of the Huawei Mate Xs 2

The smartphone’s characteristics include a 6.5-inch foldable screen that extends to 7.8-inches when unfolded.
When inflated, the OLED panel has a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels (2480 x 1176 pixels when folded).
The display panel has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, 1440 Hz PWM dimming, and a pixel density of 424ppi.

The Snapdragon 888 4G SoC with Adreno 660 GPU powers the foldable smartphone, which comes in a single storage option of 8GB + 512GB and can be upgraded by up to 256GB.

A 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor with optical image stabilisation are all included in the smartphone.
A 10-megapixel front-facing camera is also included.
The Mate XS 2 comes preloaded with EMUI 12.

Huawei claims that the device’s 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging capabilities can charge the battery to 90% in under 30 minutes.

Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro was also unveiled by the Chinese electronics titan.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is available in two circular dial sizes: 43mm and 46mm.
Both include AMOLED displays as well as a variety of health and activity tracking features.

Both have a physical side button and a digital crown, as well as Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS 2.
SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature monitoring, 5ATM water resistance, and 32GB of storage are all included in the watches.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro 46mm comes with three strap options: black fluoroelastomer, grey leather, and titanium.
These will set you back €369, €389, and €499, respectively.
White Leather and White Ceramic straps are available for €499 and €699, respectively, for the 43mm model.
