Meta has begun to roll out new Reels features on Instagram and Facebook. These features not only provide creators with more editing tools, but also allow them to upload longer videos and even schedule their uploads.

Audio Importing

According to Meta, Instagram Reels creators can now import their own audio directly within Instagram Reels.
“Use the Import Audio feature to add commentary or a background sound from any video on your camera roll that is at least 5 seconds long,” the company added.

Meta also stated that it will be introducing a feature called templates on Instagram, which will allow users to create their own reel using the same structure as a reel you’ve seen.”When you find a reel you like, tap ‘Use Template’ to bring in the audio and clip sequence.””You can then add and trim your own content to customise it,” Meta wrote.
