Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro Earbuds With Wired Mode Announced


Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro earbuds feature Qualcomm Snapdragon sound technology.

There have been announced Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro earbuds.The ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro earphones combine completely wireless audio with a wired DAC and can switch between Bluetooth and wired USB Type-C modes.Along with other features, the Asus earbuds include active noise cancellation (ANC), in-line audio optimization, and Qualcomm Snapdragon sound technology.The Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro’s battery life is rated at up to 28 hours with case charging, according to the manufacturer.The earphones are rated IPX4 for water resistance.

The ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro, Asus’ most recent flagship gaming smartphones, were also launched alongside the new ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro earbuds.One of the earbuds’ standout characteristics is that they can convert between Bluetooth and corded USB Type-C mode.The pricing and anticipated release date of the earphones are not officially known.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology used in the ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro earphones provides low-latency, premium 24-bit, 96 kHz wireless audio that can sync with on-screen graphics when used in gaming mode.The earbuds also have an in-line audio optimizer that offers a better audio experience. It includes an inbuilt high-res ESS 9280 DAC and AI noise cancelling microphone.

The Asus earbuds are compatible with a wide range of devices and platforms, including Bluetooth, iPad, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.For improved sound quality, the Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro earbuds have a 10mm neodymium magnet driver.The earbuds have a 32 ohm impedance and can operate in wired or Bluetooth mode with a headphone frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 KHz.The microphone sensitivity on the earphones is -45dB.In addition, SBC, AAC, and aptX adaptive audio codecs are supported by the Asus earbuds.

When using the ANC feature, the Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro offers a playback length of up to 4.5 hours or 13.5 hours with the charging case.The earbuds are advertised as having a playback time of up to 7 hours and up to 21 hours with ANC turned off.The Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro’s battery life is likewise advertised by the firm as lasting up to 28 hours with case charging.Additionally, the earbuds are water resistant to IPX4 standards.
