The Honor X40i is scheduled to debut on July 13.Through the microblogging site Weibo, the smartphone maker has announced that the new Honor X-series device will be available in China.Separately, a brief video that appears to show the smartphone’s rear camera module and hole-punch display design has appeared online.The new device is displayed in the video with thin bezels and a Rose Galaxy colour scheme.It is anticipated that the Honor X40i 5G will include a dual rear camera system.It’s likely that the Honor X40i will replace the Honor X30i, which made its debut in October of last year.
The Honor X40i will be on sale on July 13 according to a post on Weibo from the smartphone maker.The company’s (Chinese) billboard makes reference to the new handset having two rear cameras.Starting on the debut day, it will be available for bookings on all retail channels in China.
The supposed Honor X40i advertising video was uploaded by tipster “factory manager Guan” on Weibo.The smartphone is displayed in the video with a hole-punch display and thin bezels. It is coloured Rose Galaxy.It is observed to have an LED flash and a twin camera unit mounted on the back in what looks like a capsule-shaped rear camera module.
The Honor X40i will replace the Honor X30i, which had a starting price of CNY 1,399 (about Rs. 16,400) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option when it was introduced in October of last year.
It is anticipated that the Honor X40i would have improved specifications over the outgoing generation.The 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,388) display on the Honor X30i has a hole-punch layout.It has up to 8GB of RAM and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.
The phone has a triple rear camera arrangement with a primary 48 megapixel sensor.The Honor X30i has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.It has an internal storage capacity of up to 256GB, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 4,000mAh battery, and 22.5W rapid charging capability.
