Recently, Apple unveiled the new MacBook Air M2.The laptop also features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, a quad-speaker sound system, up to 18 hours of battery life, and compatibility for MagSafe charging, in addition to the new CPU.Starting today, buyers in India will be able to purchase the MacBook Air.
Apple MacBook Air M2 pricing, availability
In India, the Apple MacBook Air M2 is available in three variations.The cost of the edition with an 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage is Rs. 1,19,900.The edition with an 8-Core CPU, 10-Core GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 1,49,900 in India.In India, the top-of-the-line model with 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage capacity is available for launch at a price of Rs. 2,49,990.
In terms of promotions, customers can receive 3 or 6 months of no-cost EMI with eligible HDFC credit cards and a 5 percent instant cashback offer up to Rs 6,000 on orders over Rs 54,900.
Additionally, customers who purchase a Mac will receive 3 months of Apple TV+ for free.
Apple MacBook Air M2 chip specifications
In terms of specs, the new MacBook Air laptop has a 13.6-inch LED display with True Tone technology and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,664 pixels. It also has a 500 nit brightness rating.A FaceTime HD 1080p camera is also housed into the display.
The laptop is powered by Apple’s M2 chipset, which has a 16-core Neural Engine, a 10-core GPU, and an 8-core CPU.According to Apple, the performance of the new M2 chip is 35 percent faster on the GPU and 18 percent faster on the CPU.Additionally, it has a battery life of up to 18 hours, which is a significant upgrade over the M1 chipset from the previous year.Users can choose up to 2TB of storage capacity and up to 24GB of RAM.
The laptop contains a three-mic array with directional beamforming, four speakers with broad stereo sound, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and support for spatial audio.The new MacBook Air has support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 in terms of connectivity.Silver, Starlight Space, Grey, and Midnight colour options will be offered in India.
