How To: WhatsApp Companion Mode Will Let You Use Your Account On Two Phones At Once

-

You will be able to use your account on two phones simultaneously and sync your chat history using WhatsApp Companion Mode, which should be available shortly.

Because WhatsApp is so widely used, users want to use it simultaneously on multiple devices. You can now use the same WhatsApp account on many devices, unlike in the past.In other words, you don’t need to have your phone and computer connected at the same time to log into your account on WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp for PC or macOS.However, only non-phone devices have been able to use this functionality. You may soon be able to use WhatsApp on many devices at once with your account.

Companion Mode is the name of the feature in development. In essence, you’ll be able to synchronise your conversation history across additional devices.Like Telegram, WhatsApp is merely expanding its compatibility for customers’ devices. The Companion Mode was discovered by WABetaInfo in the recently released WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.15.13 as a pop-up notification. The watchdog’s screenshot demonstrates WhatsApp syncing chat histories with connected devices.

How will WhatsApp Companion Mode help?

WhatsApp is more relevant to you because it’s simple to use and everyone uses it to chat, including your boss and distant relatives.WhatsApp needs to support every type of device because you use different ones throughout the course of a day.The chat application has so far worked on cellphones, a few feature phones, PCs, Macs, and the Internet. However, it cannot be a different phone if you wish to use the same account on something else except your phone. In other words, only one phone can be used at a time to access your WhatsApp account. That issue will be resolved with the future Companion Mode.

With the Companion Mode, you can access your account from two phones at once.Additionally, your chat history will sync between devices. It will essentially allow you to migrate away from or remove the original phone. It is unquestionably simpler than the chat migration feature that WhatsApp now provides for Android and iOS devices.Although data transfer essentially needs a wire, WhatsApp’s Companion Mode uses the internet instead. However, this feature will only be available on one smartphone and three additional gadgets, such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and specific smart displays in addition to the primary phone.
