How To Turn Off The Last Seen Feature On Truecaller

-

The phone is in silent mode if there is a red bell icon next to the number.A red phone icon indicates that someone is on the phone.

With the use of Truecaller’s availability feature, users can determine whether the person they are about to call is available or busy.According to Truecaller, the availability feature was created to ensure that you call the correct person at the appropriate time.According to the feature, it only informs other users whether or not it is appropriate to speak.

How does it work?

The phone is in silent mode if there is a red bell icon next to the number.A red phone icon indicates that the user is on the phone. The ‘Last Seen’ time given allows you to also determine when a user last used the programme.Users of the Truecaller app who are active and have an internet connection use this. There is a restriction tied to it, though. They need to have Truecaller installed and the feature turned on in order to be able to see someone else’s availability.

While letting the caller know when a person is busy using this feature may be useful. Many people might also find it to be a privacy concern.By default, Truecaller activates this feature.Furthermore, you might be divulging information that you don’t want people to see. There is a switch to disable this feature in such a case.

How to turn off the Trucaller Last Seen feature?

You must first launch the application in order to disable the Availability function. After that, tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. The settings option will then be visible at the bottom.Click on that, and then select “Privacy.”The “Availability” option is located there at the top of the other selections. To disable the feature, all you have to do is toggle that off.
