Here’s how to clear up your UPI experience by deleting some of your PhonePe and Google Pay UPI IDs.
UPI was first introduced in 2016 and has since established itself as one of the speediest methods of payment. It’s interesting to note that using different services like Google Pay and PhonePe, one can link a single bank account to multiple UPI IDs.Although this is fantastic for getting money on many accounts rapidly, it is impractical to maintain track of all these IDs.
If you use the PhonePe app for all of your everyday transactions, your UPI ID will be active on the app.An example might be “9870XXXXX@ybl”.But since there are instances when this UPI ID might not function owing to technical difficulties, you can also use an active UPI ID that you created on GooglePay, such as “pranavsawxxx@okicici”.
You can also have a number of UPI IDs that are inactive on both of these networks. With so many UPI IDs, it’s possible to get confused and forget about them.To clear up your UPI experience, you might want to erase any of these IDs.
We’ll demonstrate how to erase UPI IDs in the PhonePe and GooglePay applications in this blog today.
