The Redmi K50i has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, implying that the phone will be released in India soon.The Redmi K50i is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro, which debuted in China in May.There is no official word on when the phone will be available in India.The Redmi Note 11T Pro features a 6.6-inch display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, a triple rear camera setup, and a 5,080mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Mukul Sharma, a tipster, shared an image of a smartphone with the model number 22041216I, which is said to be associated with the Redmi K50i – the reported Indian variant of the Redmi Note 11T Pro.”The Indian variant of the Poco X4 GT has now completed the BIS approval process,” Sharma says.It should be noted that the Poco X4 GT is said to be the Redmi Note 11T Pro’s global counterpart.
According to the report, the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ is codenamed ‘xagapro,’ while the Redmi Note 11T Pro is codenamed ‘xaga.’These are said to be the same codenames for the Poco X4 GT Pro and Poco X4 GT, respectively.The alleged Redmi K50i Pro will be codenamed ‘xagainpro,’ while the Redmi K50i will be codenamed ‘xagain’.
