The 6.8-inch AMOLED screens of the Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro from Nubia are identical.
On Monday, the gaming smartphones Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro were introduced in China.The smartphones are manufactured by ZTE’s Nubia sub-brand and feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs and up to 16GB of RAM.The phones include 6.8-inch AMOLED screens and a front camera hidden beneath the surface.The base model includes a 4,500mAh battery, 165Hz refresh rate display, and 120W fast charging capabilities.The Pro model, however, comes with a faster 135W quick charging battery and Red Core 1 gaming CPU in exchange for a lower 120Hz display and a larger 5,000mAh battery.
Nubia Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro price, availability
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option of the Nubia Red Magic 7S is priced at CNY 3,999 (about Rs. 47,400).Priced at CNY 4,799 (about Rs. 56,900) for the base model and CNY 5,499 for the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model (roughly Rs. 65,200).
The Red Magic 7S Pro starts at CNY 5,199 (12GB RAM + 256GB storage), or around Rs. 61,650.The cost of the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option is CNY 5,999. (roughly Rs. 71,100).
A Special Transformer Edition Red Magic 7S Pro is also available; it costs CNY 6,499 (about Rs. 77,000) and has 16GB and 512GB of storage.The cellphones can be reserved in advance and will be available for purchase starting on July 15.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro, which were just released in India, will be up against the Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro smartphones.
Nubia Red Magic 7S specifications
The 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display on the dual-SIM (Nano) Nubia Red Magic 7S features 165Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, and SGS eye protection certification. It runs Red Magic OS 5.5, which is based on Android 12.The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM power it.Additionally, the smartphone has the ICE Magic Cooling System 9.0, which controls the temperature of the device during extended gaming sessions.
The Red Magic 7S has a triple back camera arrangement for pictures and movies that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.An 8-megapixel under-display camera for selfies and video calls is located at the front.
The Red Magic 7S offers 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage space.The smartphone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi 6 Enhanced, Bluetooth v5.2, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm socket as connectivity options.The GNSS GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope are among the onboard sensors.The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery and twin DTS Sound speakers, and it supports 120W rapid charging.
Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro specifications
The specifications of the dual-SIM (Nano) Red Magic 7S Pro are the same as those of the standard model.It features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with DC Dimming and SGS eye protection certification, along with the same Android 12-based Red Magic OS 5.5.It only offers a 120Hz refresh rate, though.The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM power it as well.
The Pro version, however, includes ICE 10.0 Magic Cooling technology, unlike the Red Magic 7S.The Pro version additionally includes a Magic GPU frame stabilisation engine and a Red Core 1 gaming-specific chipset.
The Red Magic 7S Pro has the same back and front camera configuration as the Red Magic 7S.
The Red Magic 7S Pro has a storage capacity of up to 512GB using UFS 3.1.The smartphone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi 6 Enhanced, Bluetooth v5.2, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm socket as connectivity options.The GNSS GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope are among the onboard sensors.The smartphone has two X-axis linear motors, a game shoulder button, a 5,500mAh battery that supports 135W rapid charging, and dual speakers with DTS Sound.
The Special Transformer Edition Red Magic 7S Pro has the same features as the Red Magic 7S Pro but comes in a different package.
