The next Asus ROG Phone 6 will have an IPX4 classification, making it the first gaming smartphone in the world to be splash-proof against water, according to a teaser tweet from ROG Global.However, a new source also claims that testing of the upcoming gaming smartphone series has begun in India.The phone is rumoured to be released by the brand in the Indian market soon and will reportedly be sold on Flipkart.

Specifications of the Asus ROG Phone 6 (expected)

The Asus ROG Phone 6’s specifications were previously displayed when it was listed on TENAA.Model ASUS AI2201 B is what is listed for it.According to the listing, the forthcoming phone would have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen.The Asus ROG Phone 6 is displayed with up to 512GB of internal storage and up to 18GB of RAM.The phone will include a 64-megapixel main back sensor, according to TENAA.The phone has a 12-megapixel front camera, according to the certification website.A 6,000mAh battery might be inside.According to rumours, the Asus ROG Phone 6 has an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.It might weigh 229 grammes and have dimensions of 172.834×77.252×10.39mm.

The next smartphone series’ release date has been set for July 5 by Asus.The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC may power it, and it is anticipated to include a 165Hz refresh rate display.According to rumours, Asus is also developing the ROG Phone 6 Pro, which is expected to be unveiled alongside the standard model next month.
